1. Who We Are

Wen ("Wen," "we," "our," or "us") provides a menstrual and reproductive‑health tracking mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

• Email address (for account creation and login)
• Name or nickname (optional)
• Authentication identifiers when you sign in with Apple or Google

Reproductive and health information (sensitive data)

• Period start/end dates and flow intensity
• Symptoms, mood, and notes you choose to log
• Sexual activity and contraception entries you choose to log
• Date of birth, cycle and period length, and your tracking goal
• Ovulation and fertility estimates the App generates from the above

Technical information

• Device and operating‑system information
• App usage and diagnostic/error logs

We only collect health information that you choose to enter. You can use much of the App without logging sensitive details, and you can delete entries at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Create and secure your account
• Provide the App and generate your personalized cycle and fertility estimates
• Send notifications and reminders you have turned on
• Respond to support requests
• Maintain, debug, and improve the App
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not use your health data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

Where required by law, we process your reproductive‑health information only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you accept this Policy and choose to log such data. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the relevant data or your account (see Section 8).

5. How We Share Information

We share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers that host and operate our infrastructure, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and only as needed to run the App.
• Partner sharing features, only the specific data you explicitly choose to share, and only with people you choose.
• Legal compliance, where we are required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfer, if Wen is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will require the successor to honor this Policy and will notify you of any material change.

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and protected at rest using industry‑standard measures.
• We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal and health data is deleted from our active systems (backups are rotated out on a routine schedule).
• No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Export your data (the App includes a data‑export feature)
• Delete your account and associated data (in‑app: Settings → Delete Account)
• Withdraw consent to processing of health data at any time
• Object to or restrict certain processing

If you are in the EEA/UK, these include rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights — and we confirm we do not sell your personal information. 9. Reproductive‑Health Data Notice

Reproductive‑health information is sensitive. You are in control: you decide what to log, you can export it, and you can permanently delete individual entries or your entire account at any time. We will never sell this data or use it for advertising.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children. Because it handles reproductive‑health information, it is intended for users 16 years or older (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you in the App, and where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the updated Policy.
